The Zeehan Gem and Mineral Fair will be on for 2 days and there will be a huge range of minerals, jewellery, fossils, beads, crystals, silver, gold and much more. Ideal for early Christmas shopping. There will be free rides and entertainment for the children including, Mini Jeeps, Ballpond, Jumping Castle and Circatron all free for both days! There will also be the Snakeman, Ian Davies with his free snake shows on Sunday. More to be announced later in the year.

The Olde Corner Store Market is held on the third Sunday each month starting at 10.00am and finishing around 1 - 1:30ish The market and Evans Heritage Store compliment each other with a variety of bric-a-brac and variety stalls. Tea/coffee & cake are available.The Lions Club have their popular BBQ,... It's a great place to visit, browse & have a chat. The Lyell Craft Committee organise the markets, and charge a fee of $15 per provided trestle or $10 for a space. These fees cover public liability insurance, advertising, purchases of market items (ie trestles, umbrellas, chairs). The Committee also donate student bursaries to local schools each year to encourage Art & Craft. Please phone and book a stall if you have a hobby to share or are just having a cleanout at home. Latecomers are welcome to turn up on the day, however choice of a site or trestle may not be available. New Stallholders welcome.

Starlight Children’s Foundation’s major annual fundraiser, Starlight Day is taking place on May 2. Starlight needs your help to bring happiness to seriously ill children and their families. You can get involved by volunteering to help sell Starlight merchandise or host a Star Party during the month of May. Money raised this Starlight Day and throughout the month of May will help Starlight reach more kids when they need it most.
