Tasmanian roads are unpredictable, with lots of dangerous corners and windy turns.  In Winter, Tasmanian roads have been known to be slippery, icy and even have snow on them.  At times, they can be closed due to the conditions, especially here on the West Coast, the Murchison Highway, the Lyell Highway and Cradle Mountain.
